hmmm, these blocks taste good, Daddy!

while playing with her oh so silly daddy one day, Eliana discovered she fits in the laundry hampers! so, now it has become a little tradition. of course, i only put her in it with the clean clothes, so don't worry! :)

she started pulling up on the bars, so we had to take the bumper pads out and move the mattress down. i can't believe my baby is getting so big!

peekaboo! she's still not crawling, but she's definitely working on it and sitting up really good.

another favorite activity is sitting by this shelf that has all our tea and coffee stuff on it while i work in the kitchen and emptying it all out (instead of playing with the toys that are scattered around her)

celebrating her texas heritage with a friend's pink hat. very stylish, don't you think?

she's pulling on everything!

one of my Christmas presents was this new baby carrier, an ergo pack, and it is awesome! we've been "wearing" her since she was born pretty much whenever we go out and this one allows me to put my keys, money, and a few baby items in a bag that attaches to it so that i am hands free and also distributes her ever increasing weight really evenly across my hips and back! it goes on the front, back, and the hip, so we have fun wtih all the different positions!

just to give you a quick update about the gallbladder issues, I have a surgical consult scheduled January 17, so hopefully they will be able to do the surgery soon after that. Please be remembering us as Vip will be on Elly Bean duty then and I'm still trying to figure out what to do for her eating situation. she eats a lot of solids now but also nruses a lot (about 5-6 times a day still!) and i don't know how to travel such a long distance with pumped milk, so we are trying to figure it all out. We also have to get new visas for all three of us before leaving next Friday. ahhh!
